SCOPE OF WORK

The scope included the following: Supply and Install 2 demountable buildings, new DDA compliant deck & ramps to the demountables, new foot path to existing range control, electrical compliance works, upgrade security hardware, fire safety remediation work, supply and install new rainwater tank & pump. Additional works (client-initiated variation) included: Extra cabling requirement due to discrepancy in documentation, extra materials requirement to ensure the new footpath is DDA compliant (not outlined in original documents), supply of furniture for the new lunchroom, and minor design requirements for the demountable buildings

INNOVATION

V2R identified that the existing electrical switchboard which was proposed to run the two new demountables was severely weathered, outdated and not up to the task of safely operating with the proposed load. It was recommended to defence that the switchboard is upgraded as a part of the project.
