SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of work included: demolition of existing road tek shed and concrete apron; supply and installation of new road tek shed; supply and installation of new soil lab shed; supply and installation of new carport; supply and installation of new concrete slabs for sheds; supply and installation of new concrete hardstand/apron; and, removal and replacement of Shelving to soil lab shed.
INNOVATION
During the project, it was discovered that the current shelves in the soil lab did not possess adequate load capacity to accommodate the intended storage requirements. The client expressed reluctance to alter the shelving configuration due to the limited floor space available.
After considering the weight and size of items requiring storage, V2R presented the client with options and approval was granted for shelving that balanced load capacity, space utilization, and operational convenience
