Mount Isa Hospital Pathology Refurbishment

Works were carried out to the majority of the existing pathology department within the hospital including offices, labs, unisex bathrooms, storerooms, and corridors, over three (3) separate stages. Stage 1 involved the demolition and refurbishment of the existing audiology department, storeroom, corridors, and amenities, including removal of walls and partitions and the replacement of the suspended ceiling and installation of new vinyl flooring. Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics Services were also upgraded. Stage 2 saw the demolition of the existing Core Lab area and the area refurbished into a new laboratory Space, with upgrades to services again completed. In the final Stage V2R Projects scope call again for services upgrade during the demolition and refurbishment of the existing CSR, Send Aways, Entry, and Blood Bank store rooms into new laboratory spaces.
