V2R Projects was fortunate enough to be invited to attend the North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation National Reconciliation Week celebration at Bowen last week. The event showcased inspiring examples of collaboration between North Queensland’s traditional landowners and business leaders throughout the region.

Presentations from Ricky Dallachy and Jessica Vakameilalo from Juru Enterprises Limited and NQBP CEO Nicolas Fertin allowed us to increase our understanding of how to identify opportunities for collaboration with traditional owners in regions where we work.

It was important learning about the ongoing partnership between North Queensland Bulk Ports and Juru Enterprises Limited with the sharing details of progress achieved to date, and how it is planned to build on this into the future for the benefit of everyone involved.
