SCOPE OF WORK
The scope for the construction of an all-weather access road included:
- Clearing and grubbing
- Surface/subsurface drainage
- Concrete pavement/driveway
INNOVATION
Due to the steep access and the requirements in the brief from Optus / Nokia including meeting with the land owner to accommodate access to the family home was planned with daily briefings both in the morning and evening prior to leaving. Utilising the existing contours and expanding the access to accommodate for the swale drain and rip rap rock was important so that the shoulders would not scour out.
