V2R Projects has teamed up with Keir Qld and Commercial Property Solutions (CPS) to establish the Queensland Construction Alliance (QCA) to deliver projects for our customers throughout Regional Queensland. The benefit QCA is able to offer our customers is the combined knowledge, experience and capability of the group and provide the right resources to deliver the project. Our team are based regionally and we have staff in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Gladstone and South East Queensland.
QCA has major contractor experience and capability whilst maintaining the efficiencies of an appropriately resourced local business. The overhead structure is geared towards efficient project delivery, without the corporate burden, whilst maintaining an appropriate level of process control and compliance.
Over the past 15 months, QCA has been delivering the extension and refurbishment of the Bluecare – Homefield Aged Care Facility in Mackay. The project is nearing completion of the delivery of an 18-bed Mental Support Unit and a 5 stage refurbishment program of the existing operating 56-bed facility.
In addition to the delivery of the Bluecare project, the project team of Paul Chambers, Kate Moloney, Geoff Morris and Nev Beresford along with subcontractors and suppliers have been able to support the Mackay Suicide Prevent Network (MRSPN) through awareness sessions at toolbox talks and raise valuable funds to support the work the MRSPN does in the Central Queensland region.
